Building will cost you something. Just make sure it does not cost you everything.
- Trends- when you start building, fashion, upgrades etc will matter less. Many people who are building eventually start to look a bit backward or old fashioned. Do not worry you will catch up.
- Transportation- the cost of transportation is very high. Some products may cost you the same to buy as they do to transport. So be mindful. One of the ways to lower the cost is to transport more per trip. Eg. if transporting 1,000 blocks costs you K1,000 it means you are spending K1 per block. Therefore if the cost per block is K11 you are spending K12 per block.
If the transport company can agree to add 200 blocks for the same fee, you just lowered your cost per block to K11.83. This is not insignificant. It adds up over time.
- Time- we rarely bill for our time. Building will consume your time. It can even detach you from your family. Almost every man has been accused of or suspected of cheating when building.
Building is needy.
- Emotional 😭 Cost- who can quantify the effects of building on our emotional wellbeing? Who?
To say the least building will disturb your peace of mind, frustrating your focus and distortion may come in. Stay calm, resolute and dedicated. One of the diabolical aspects of building is that sometimes the very people you are building for will misunderstand you the most. In some cases, the beneficiaries of building are the most ungrateful.
- Opportunities- you may miss out on many other things such as school, valentines 💘 😂, events, religious festivals etc.
Like we said in point number one, you will catch up. Be careful though, after building do not expect everyone to accept you. In fact some people will reject you just because you have built.
