Agriculture Is The Backbone Of Kenya

Paul is one of the more than 40,000 youth contributing to food security and earning returns from agribusiness in Kenya through support from FIPS-Africa. He received poultry management and vegetable establishment training in 2022 and later received a 25-gram trial pack of kale that he established on a quarter-acre piece of land.

After witnessing the potential success of kale farming, Paul scaled his production to one acre. He has also established a vegetable nursery where he raises seedlings for sale to farmers in his locality. He also grows African nightshade and spring onions.
