Kenyans Suffer After US President Donald Trump’s Tariff

Kenyans exporting goods to the United States have suffered a major blow after US President Donald Trump imposed a 10% export tariff—dealing a heavy hit to free-market access that had been enjoyed under the African Growth and Opportunities Act (AGOA).

The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) has raised concerns, warning that the move will disrupt trade flows and frustrate efforts by Kenyan businesses trying to stay competitive in the US market.🙌
