Former DP Gachagua discloses that a consignment of fertilizer donated to Kenya by Russia was handed over to private companies, repackaged, and later sold back to the government at prevailing commercial prices, claiming it was not distributed freely to farmers as initially expected.
Instead, he alleged that the shipment was allocated to Maisha Millers and Devki Group, who processed and resold it to the government.
“Fertilizer donated by Russia was given to Maisha millers and Devki, blended and sold to government at market rate,” Gachagua stated.
