The culmination of the events leading to today’s swearing-in, as well as the prevailing peace in the country, is a confirmation that no one is above the law and that our democracy is maturing.
I’m proud that I initiated and canvassed the motion that led to this historic milestone in our governance. It took great courage and bravery.
Overall, it was all out of patriotism and great love for my country. I sense rekindled hope among Kenyans that will turn around our socio-economic progress for the benefit of all Kenyans.
