UPDATE: The Climate WorX Mtaani Initiative, which was launched last month, has officially begun.

The initiative focuses on addressing climate change and promoting environmental sustainability in Kenya.

Managed by the National Youth Service (NYS), it aims to involve young people in activities like greening Kenya and ensuring ecological sustainability.

A key objective of the initiative is to plant 15 billion trees, aligning with Kenya’s broader commitment to combating climate change.

In addition to environmental goals, the program also provides employment opportunities for the youth, instilling responsibility for managing the environment.
