UPDATE: No relief yet for Gachagua as four attempts to stop impeachment in courts flop

This is after Sheria Mtaani through advocate Shadrack Wambui and Danstan Omari filed another case challenging the impeding motion. Further directions will be issued on October 9.

Former Kakamega Senator Cleopas Malalah has also filed a similar matter in court but Justice Bahati Mwamuye didn’t issue any temporary relief.

Justice Mwamuye directed the matter be mentioned October 7 for further directions.

Four other Kenyans as represented by Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru seek to suspend the National Assembly and Senate from taking any action that is related to Gachagua’s impeachment.

The four are Obuli Namenya, Kennedy Gachege, Denis Okumu, Simon Munyi and Peter Maina.
