The deputy president of the Republic Of Kenya Hon Rigathi Gachagua today on Wednesday 25th September 2024 hosted the top event where he said the following: “With a youthful, skilled and digitally knowledgeable and creative population, we have an immense pool of resources for accelerated development as underpinned by the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda and our broader Blue-Print Vision 2030.
Under the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy, we are creating a fertile ecosystem in science parks like Konza Technopolis for incubation and mentorship of our youth to lead technological innovations to spark and spur a digital-based economy.

Kenya is excited to host the 41st International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation World Conference 2024, which I opened on behalf of President William Ruto at The Edge hotel in Nairobi. It is a platform of robust and insightful discussions on grounding economies on digital technology and innovation for sustainable development.

Technology is also an enabler of smooth citizen-centred service delivery, as we create more job opportunities for our youth locally and internationally.
