Basic salary of police constables at entry level increases by Sh4,000 to earn Sh25,645; NPS commission says Senior Assistant Inspector General pay to rise by Sh21,026 to Sh221,915 as well as longest serving PCs to earn Sh50,145 (min) to Sh69,640 (max).

The Commission approves the promotion of 1,957 police officers in efforts to motivate officers; 87 females and 1,870 males who have held the same rank for over 30 years.
